GroundMusic is a unique initiative designed to create a platform that connects emerging musicians with the resources of privately owned public spaces. As the space designer for this project, our role is to design and create inclusive installations—referred to as "curious objects"—in collaboration with young musicians who will use them during performances. These curious objects are adaptable, easy to assemble, and tailored to meet the specific needs of the musicians.

Our aim is to challenge the conventional setting of classical music performance and rethink design possibilities beyond the static and often disengaged relationships between musicians, audiences, and the surrounding environment. By involving musicians during the design process, we hope to facilitate a dynamic dialogue between space, music, performers, and audiences, transforming the way classical music is experienced in public settings.
